Senior Manager Treasury - Utrecht Region

An international organisation is seeking a Senior Manager Treasury to strengthen its treasury function during a period of transformation. Utrecht Region, €100K. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex treasury operations, optimise liquidity, and contribute to strategic projects such as TMS implementation and ERP harmonisation. The position combines hands-on operational responsibilities with project leadership in a dynamic, international environment.

Reporting to the Head of Global Treasury and working together with another junior colleague (who are both located abroad), you are in charge of strengthening the treasury function and driving optimisation. Your responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily treasury operations, including cash management, intercompany financing, and credit facilities
• Leading initiatives to streamline banking structure
• Driving TMS implementation and upgrades, ensuring integration with ERP systems.
• Managing FX risk, focusing on Central and Eastern European currencies
• Supporting trade finance activities, including bank guarantees and intercompany financing agreements.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external banking partners to optimise treasury processes.
• Contributing to standardisation and reporting improvements across the treasury function.
• Assessing and recommending new technologies to enhance efficiency and capabilities.

You are an independent and proactive treasury professional with strong operational expertise and a strategic mindset. You thrive in complex environments and can manage multiple priorities effectively. You bring:

• 5–8 years of experience in treasury operations and cash management within an international setting.
• Hands-on experience with Treasury Management Systems (implementation or upgrades).
• Experience in FX management and hedging strategies.
• Familiarity with trade finance instruments and intercompany financing.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and their integration with treasury processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Our client is a global industrial organisation undergoing significant transformation, including ERP harmonisation and treasury process optimisation. The treasury team plays a key role in supporting the company’s growth and financial stability. This position reports to the Head of Global Treasury and collaborates closely with finance leadership and operational teams across multiple regions.

The expected base salary range is €100K, depending on experience. The organisation offers a hybrid working model (approximately two days per week in the office) and opportunities for professional development in a dynamic international environment.
