Business Treasurer

Treasury is managed by a team of three. One very experience team member has chosen to focus on treasury core tasks. The very experienced group treasurer has, over the last few years, brought broader risk tasks into his team than you normally see. All team members are, to a certain extent, treasury generalists. Together with the group treasurer, you will work both on regular treasury projects as non-regular ones.

You will pick up tasks in adjacent fields like insurance, commodity hedging and operational risk. Over time our client has worked on many international balance sheet, working capital and project funding transactions. You are expected to claim an increasing role in similar transactions. You are expected to take initiative, will be trained and exposed to internal (board) and external stakeholders. 

Of course you worked in treasury before, having covered all bases is not a must. Your personality is easily as important as your experience. You are analytical, eager, inquisitive and communicative. Of course you understand that working in treasury is a combination of very hands-on AND strategic. Moving up, is a project of which you are the project leader and will achieve by understanding priorities and translate them into your initiatives. Speaking Dutch is a plus, not a must.

Important to stress is the strong track record of the group treasurer and his willingness to coach and support his team members in their career development. 

Indication of the base salary is €85K with a bandwidth. The secundary benefits are above market average and include a company care.
